Charity Nickelson 
Charity was born about 1780 in Mecklenburg Co NC. Charity's father was Joseph Nickelson and her mother was Lillis Mcadoo Jack. Her paternal grandparents were Culbert\Cuthbert Nickelson and Jennet Candor; her maternal grandparents were Patrick Jack and Lillis McAdoo. She had five brothers named John Candor, Joseph, James H, George Patrick and Samuel Jack. She was the second youngest of the six children. She died on April 22nd, 1832 in Greensboro, Greene Co GA.General Notes
deed book p656: "p78 Joseph Nickelson, for love and affection, to mybeloved daughter, Charity Grimes, of same co., to heirs of her bodyforever, a negro woman named Flora & her son Thomas, 10 Jan. 1800.(signed) Joseph Nickelson.
