John METZGER

John was born on January 18th, 1771 in N. Woodbury Twp., Bedford, Pa. John's father was Johann Valentin METZGER and his mother was Catherine UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Johann Adam METZGER and Maria Katharina SCHERER. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Andrew, Christiana, Henry, Jacob, Andrew, Susanna, Christena, Mary, Catharine, Elizabeth and Catharina. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 66 on January 18th, 1837 in Middletown, N. Woodbury, Pa. He was buried in , , Pa..
