Jacob METZGER 
Jacob was born on March 3rd, 1781 in Of Woodbury Twp., Bedford, Pa. Jacob's father was Johann Valentin METZGER and his mother was Catherine UNKNOWN. His paternal grandparents were Johann Adam METZGER and Maria Katharina SCHERER. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Andrew, John, Christiana, Henry, Andrew, Susanna, Christena, Mary, Catharine, Elizabeth and Catharina. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 81 on October 4th, 1862 in Jackson Twp., Kosciusko Co., In. He was buried in Jackson Twp., Kosciusko Co., In.General Notes
