William MCKAY 
William was born in 1792 in Farr, Sthrln, Scotland. William's father was John MCKAY and his mother was Barbara MUNRO. His paternal grandparents are Isaac MCKAY and Hannah MCKAY OR MACKAY; his maternal grandfather was Donald MUNRO and his maternal grandmother is Catherine GORDON. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, Robert, Adam, William, Donald, Elizabeth(Betty), Catherine and Barbara. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 14 in 1806. He was buried in Ogden, Weber, Ut.General Notes
