Catherine MCKAY

Catherine was born in 1796 in Farr, Sthrln, Scotland. Catherine's father was John MCKAY and her mother was Barbara MUNRO. Her paternal grandparents are Isaac MCKAY and Hannah MCKAY OR MACKAY; her maternal grandfather was Donald MUNRO and her maternal grandmother is Catherine GORDON. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Isaac, Robert, Adam, William, Donald, Elizabeth(Betty) and Barbara. She is the third oldest of the nine children.
