Her paternal grandparents were Achilles Anderson Legg and Mary Aurilla Monday. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Silas Greenberry, Benjamin Beverly, John William, James Venton, Henry Clinton, Edgar, Mary Alice, Martha Elizabeth, Mollie Dove and Luverna. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 81 on October 25th, 1947 in Kanawha Co., WV.-
