Henry Clinton was born on March 2nd, 1876 in Legg Fork of Tuppers Creek, Kanawha Co., WV. Henry Clinton's father was Francis Marion Legg and his mother was Margaret Wilmuth Jane Miller. His paternal grandparents were Achilles Anderson Legg and Mary Aurilla Monday. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Silas Greenberry, Benjamin Beverly, John William, James Venton, Edgar, Octavia Paradine, Mary Alice, Martha Elizabeth, Mollie Dove and Luverna. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 96 on June 25th, 1972 in Charleston, Kanawha Co. WV.-
