Francis Marion Legg 
Francis Marion was born on January 29th, 1845 in Tuppers Creek, Kanawha, WV. Francis Marion's father was Achilles Anderson Legg and his mother was Mary Aurilla Monday. His paternal grandparents were Fortunatus Legg and Nelly Foster; his maternal grandfather was Reuben Monday and his maternal grandmother is Mary UNKNOWN. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Calvery, Reuben Camel, William Natis, Kellis Greenberry, Anna Eliza, Mary Jane, Martha Elender, Melissa Margarett and Sarah Frances. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 60 on May 5th, 1905 in Grapevine Creek, Kanawha, West Virginia. He was buried in Legg Family, Cemetary, Kanawha, WV.General Notes
