Robert Lee was born on March 13th, 1875 in Kanawha County WV.1 Robert Lee's father was William Hurt Jenkins and his mother was Martha Ann Lumpkin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Robert Jenkins and Martha Booker Fore. He had eleven brothers and three sisters, named John Thomas, William J., Albert Lafayette, James Alexander, Charles Wesley, Samuel Tellden, Burwell Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Unknown, Robert Thomas, Robert Thomas, Sarah Walker, Martha Ellen and Mary Alice. He died at the age of 74 on May 18th, 1949 in Kanawha County WV.1 General Notes
