Charles Wesley was born on November 17th, 1872 in Charleston WV Kanawha County.1 Charles Wesley's father was William Hurt Jenkins and his mother was Martha Ann Lumpkin. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Robert Jenkins and Martha Booker Fore. He had eleven brothers and three sisters, named John Thomas, William J., Albert Lafayette, James Alexander, Robert Lee, Samuel Tellden, Burwell Franklin, Andrew Jackson, Unknown, Robert Thomas, Robert Thomas, Sarah Walker, Martha Ellen and Mary Alice. He died at the age of 82 on August 1st, 1955 in Charleston WV. He was buried on August 4th, 1955 in Charleston WV Guthrie Cemetary.1 1 General Notes
