Samuel Jack 
Samuel's father was Patrick Jack and his mother was Lillis McAdoo. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Jack and Eleanor Elizabeth Jervis. He had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Robert, John, Margaret, Jean, Mary, Lillis Mcadoo and Charity. He died before 1814 in Wilkes County GA.1 General Notes
1814 John C. Nickelson testifies on will of Samuel Jack,
To wife Margaret and my five children by her, Mary Evalina, SamuelStewart, John McCormick, William Dysart and Amanda Malvina, certainslaves. To wife and two last named children mentioned, called theyoungest, 200 acres adjoining the tract where I live, formerly owned bybrother James Jack, now occupied by William Elliott. "Whereas at thetime of our marriage my wife owned a house and lot in Chambersburg and300 acres in District No. 2 Westmoreland county, PA, willed to her by herformer husband Alexander Stewart, she shall still hold it." Having sold24 May 1802 to James Lee of Charleston, SC 180,000 acres of land inCamden County, SC three lots of which were reserved for my children,James Knight Patrick, Eliza Douglass, and William Dysart Jack. If notpaid for return to wife and these children. My claim to 75,000 acres inthe Tenn. Purchase of Zachariah Cox, to them also. Wife Margaret andfriends Abraham Simmons and Matthew Talbot, Executors.
