Josiah Hurt 
Josiah was born about 1771 in Prince Edward Co., Va.1 He had a sister named Martha. He was the older of the two children. He died in 1818 in Davidson Co., TN.1
Josiah and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on January 7th, 1796 in Prince Edwards Co. Va.1 They had seven sons and three daughters, named Henry, William, Benjamin, John H., Forrester, Spencer Thomas, Josiah, Elizabeth, Judith and Sarah Jane.

Sarah Jane was born on October 15th, 1807 in Prince Edward Co., VA.1 She died at the age of 58 on April 4th, 1866 in Robertson Co., TN. She was buried in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield, Robertson Co., Tn.
