Samuel Yount was born on May 21st, 1809 in Richmond, Wayne Co, Indiana.1 Samuel Yount's father was Frederick Hoover and his mother was Catherine Yount. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Hoover\HUBER and Elizabeth Waymire; his maternal grandparents were William Henry Yount and Marianne Waymire. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Alexander, Samuel, John Yount, Henry, Sarah, Sarah A, Mary, Catherine, Anna and Anna. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 60 on August 2nd, 1869 in Richmond, Wayne Co, Indiana. He was buried in Hoover-Bulla Cem, Richmond, Wayne Co, Indiana.1 1 General Notes
