Her paternal grandparents were John Hoover and Elizabeth Brumbaugh. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named William N., John, Reuben N., Albert, Margaret Ann, Harriet, Mary Noffskar, Martha, Sulia, Cecelia\Celia and Ruby. She died at the age of 68 on December 28th, 1942 in Mercy Hospital, Altoona, Blair Co., PA.2 General Notes

FETHER, 5415 Broad Avenue, Altoona, died at 4:47 o'clock Monday morning, December 28, 1942, at Mercy Hospital, Altoona,after having been ill for the past 11 weeks.Born February 28, 1874, at Clover Creek, she was a daughter of John B. and Sarah (NOFFSKER) HOOVER and married Mr. FETHER at Roaring Spring June 16,1895.She is survived by her husband and these children: Irene, wife of S.W. CLAAR,DuBois; Homer A., Chalmer T. Iva, wife of Kenneth E. WILT, and Sadie, wife of Paul K. WHARTONn, all of Altoona. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Maggie FRYE, Martinsburg; Mrs. Mary BARNETT,Roaring Spring; the Rev. William N. HOOVER, Warriors Mark; Reuben N. HOOVER and Mrs. Sulia EYER, Altoona.Mrs. FETHER was a member of the First Church of the Brethren of Altoona and of the Truth Seekers Bible Class.Friends will be received at the home from 7 o'clock tonight until 11:30o'clock Thursday morning when the body will be removed to the First Church of the Brethren, Altoona, where it may be viewed until the hour of the funeral Thursday afternoon.
