Sara was born in 1907.¹ Sara's father was George Alexander Feathers\Fether and her mother was Anna Hoover. Her maternal grandparents were John B. Hoover and Sarah Ann Nofsker\Noffscar\Noffsker. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Homer Alexander, Chalmer T., Emery Clarence, Cora Irene and Iva. She is the youngest of the six children.
