William HANBY 
William was born in 1789 in Henry Co., Va. William's father was Jonathan HANBY and his mother was Sarah Matilda DALTON. His paternal grandparents were John HANBY and Susannah Thompson; his maternal grandparents were Samuel DALTON and Ann Dandridge "Nancy" REDD. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, David, Samuel, Gabriel, Susannah, Nancy, Jane and Sarah Dalton. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 51 in 1840.General Notes
