Susannah HANBY 
Susannah was born on May 2nd, 1770 in Pittsylvania Co., Va. Susannah's father was Jonathan HANBY and her mother was Sarah Matilda DALTON. Her paternal grandparents were John HANBY and Susannah Thompson; her maternal grandparents were Samuel DALTON and Ann Dandridge "Nancy" REDD. She had five brothers and three sisters, named John, David, Samuel, Gabriel, William, Nancy, Jane and Sarah Dalton. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 86 on February 4th, 1857 in Patrick Co., Va.General Notes
