Christina was born on June 24th, 1547 in Scotland. Christina's father was William Forbes and her mother was Elizabeth Keith. Her paternal grandfather was John Forbes and her paternal grandmother is Christian Lundin. She had seven brothers and seven sisters, named John, Alexander, William, Arthur, James, Robert, Abraham, Jean, Isabel, Elizabeth, Catherine, Margaret, Barbara and Anne. She was the third oldest of the fifteen children.-
