Elizabeth Mary was born about 1397 in Mar, Aberdeenshire, England. Elizabeth Mary's father was George Douglas and her mother was Mary Stewart. Her paternal grandparents were William Douglas and Margaret Stewart; her maternal grandparents were Robert John Stewart and Annabella Drummond. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George, William, Elizabeth (Mary) and Mary. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named Gilbert, John, James, Robert, William, Walter, William and Elizabeth Margaret. She died after 1439.-
