Beatrice was born about 1325 in Crawford, Lanarkshire, Scotland.  Beatrice's father was David De Lindsay and her mother was Maria Abernethy.  Her paternal grandfather was Alexander De Lindsay and her paternal grandmother is Beatrix Stewart; her maternal grandfather was Alexander Abernethy. She had three brothers named James, Alexander and William.  She was the oldest of the four children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, Norman, Walter and Margaret.  She died in 1352 in Crawford, Lanark, Scotland.


Beatrice's first family with Archibald Douglas

‌Beatrice and Archibald were married in a religious ceremony about 1320.  They had two sons and two daughters, named John, William, Eleanor and Muriel.


Beatrice's second family with Robert Erskine

‌Beatrice and Robert were married in a religious ceremony in 1346 in ,Selkirk, Scotland.  They had two sons named Nicholas and Thomas.
