Alexander Stewart 
Alexander was born in 1214 in Dundonald, Ayrshire, Scotland. Alexander's father was Walter Stewart and his mother is Beatrix De ANGUS. His paternal grandfather was Alan FITZWALTER and his paternal grandmother is Margaret de Galloway; his maternal grandparents were Gilchrist Ogilvie De ANGUS and Marjory De HUNTINGTON. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, Walter, Robert, Beatrix, ?, Euphemia, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 69 in 1283 in Dundonald Castle, Irvine, Ayrshire, Scotland. He was buried in Paisley Abbey.General Notes
