William Mure 
William was born in 1265 in Craigie, Rowallan, Ayr, Scotland. William's father is Archibald Mure and his mother is Margaret De Montgomerie. His paternal grandfather was Gilchrist Mure and his paternal grandmother is Isabel Comyn; his maternal grandfather was John De Montgomerie and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Murrey. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Robert Reginald, Andrew, Jonet and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died about 1348.General Notes
