John Mure 
John was born about 1263 in Rowallan, Ayr, Scotland. John's father is Archibald Mure and his mother is Margaret De Montgomerie. His paternal grandfather was Gilchrist Mure and his paternal grandmother is Isabel Comyn; his maternal grandfather was John De Montgomerie and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Murrey. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Robert Reginald, Andrew, Jonet and Margaret. He is the second oldest of the six children.-
