James A. Edens 
James A. was born in May 1891 in Poca District, Kanawha Co., WV. James A.'s father was Squire Morris Edens and his mother was Nancy Jane Walker. His paternal grandfather was James Alexander Edens and his paternal grandmother is Arinda Hubbard. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William Joseph, Alfred F., Robert Stanton, Eliza Jane and Alice Susan. He is the second youngest of the six children.-
