Alice Susan was born on December 11th, 1879 in Poca District, Kanawha Co., WV. Alice Susan's father was Squire Morris Edens and her mother was Nancy Jane Walker. Her paternal grandfather was James Alexander Edens and her paternal grandmother is Arinda Hubbard. She had four brothers and a sister, named William Joseph, Alfred F., James A., Robert Stanton and Eliza Jane. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 86 on May 15th, 1966 in Charleston, Kanawha Co. WV.-
