John Wilson Crockett

John Wilson was born in 1805 in Tennessee. John Wilson's father was John B. Crockett and his mother was Rebecca Sullivan Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were Robert David "The Elder" Crockett and Elizabeth Hedge; his maternal grandfather was Nathan Hawkins and his maternal grandmother is Ruth Cole. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James William, Aaron D., Nathan, Patterson, Wilson, David "Davey" Stern, Sarah E., Elizabeth, Margaret and Rebecca. He is the youngest of the eleven children.
