Aaron D. Crockett

Aaron D. was born on March 7th, 1782 in Sullivan Co., Tennessee. Aaron D.'s father was John B. Crockett and his mother was Rebecca Sullivan Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were Robert David "The Elder" Crockett and Elizabeth Hedge; his maternal grandfather was Nathan Hawkins and his maternal grandmother is Ruth Cole. He had six brothers and four sisters, named James William, Nathan, Patterson, Wilson, David "Davey" Stern, John Wilson, Sarah E., Elizabeth, Margaret and Rebecca. He is the third oldest of the eleven children.
