Susan Matilda Chitwood 
Susan Matilda was born on June 15th, 1815 in Franklin Co.,Virginia. Susan Matilda's father was Squire Chitwood and her mother was Mary Wray. Her paternal grandparents were William CHITWOOD and Susannah Nowlin. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Edmund, Stephen, William, M. Bostic, Green, Angeran, Leonard C. and Elenor. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 74 on April 6th, 1890.General Notes
