Angeran Chitwood 
Angeran was born in March 1823 in Franklin Co.,Virginia. Angeran's father was Squire Chitwood and his mother was Mary Wray. His paternal grandparents were William CHITWOOD and Susannah Nowlin. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Edmund, Stephen, William, M. Bostic, Green, Leonard C., Elenor and Susan Matilda. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 56 on November 24th, 1879.General Notes
