Alexander CLAYTON 
Alexander was born on June 17th, 1802 in , Hampshire, Va. Alexander's father was John Calvin CLAYTON and his mother was Mary BROWN. His paternal grandfather was Thomas CLAYTON and his paternal grandmother is Mary Walker; his maternal grandfather was Alexander BROWN and his maternal grandmother is Mary UNKNOWN. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Samuel, John B, Matthew, Joseph, David Moore, James P, Isaac and Eliza. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 on April 12th, 1879 in Bartlett, Wesley Twp, Washington, Oh. He was buried in Smith Cem, Wesley Twp, Washington, Oh.General Notes
