Mary CLAY 
Mary was born in 1722 in Chesterfield, Va, Virginia. Mary's father was Henry CLAY and her mother was Mary MITCHELL. Her paternal grandparents were Charles CLAY and Hannah WILSON; her maternal grandfather was William MITCHELL and her maternal grandmother is Elizabeth INNES. She had six brothers and three sisters, named William Mitchell, William Mitchell, Henry, Charles, John, John, Amey, Martha and Amey. She was the youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 55 in 1777.General Notes
