Newton Jasper Blythe

Newton Jasper was born on March 25th, 1838 in MS. Newton Jasper's father was Andrew Jackson Blythe and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Harris. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Blythe and Annie Barnes; his maternal grandfather was Sidon John Harris and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Crockett. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson, John W. Blythe, James Irvin, Andrew J, Nancy Marinda, Sarah Jane, Ester E., Margaret and Mary E.. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 79 on September 6th, 1917 in Union Co., MS.
