James Irvin Blythe

James Irvin was born on July 15th, 1834 in Alabama. James Irvin's father was Andrew Jackson Blythe and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Harris. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Blythe and Annie Barnes; his maternal grandfather was Sidon John Harris and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Crockett. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson, John W. Blythe, Newton Jasper, Andrew J, Nancy Marinda, Sarah Jane, Ester E., Margaret and Mary E.. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 67 on May 5th, 1902 in Holly Springs, MS.
