Thomas Anderson 
Thomas was born in 1616 in London, England.1 Thomas' father was Richard Anderson and his mother is Elizabeth Hawkins. His paternal grandfather was John Bartlett Anderson; his maternal grandfather was William Hawkins. He had two brothers named John and Richard. He was the second oldest of the three children. Thomas Anderson arrived on ship Bonaventure 1/2/1634. He lived at
Gloucester Point on York River according to tradition and was a
shipwright. I am trying to study whether this man may be the father
of Reynard Anderson or Thomas Anderson who are the founders of the
southside Virginia ANDERSON families.

Charlottesville, Va. 02/26/84. Merchant Hope, ship that brought Richard
Anderson to Va. in 1635. His sons John and Thomas were in the
shipbuilding business in Gloucester Pt., Va.
He had a biological son named Thomas.
