Her paternal grandfather was John ALDRIDGE and her paternal grandmother is Ann or Annie Hamilton; her maternal grandfather was William Diffee and her maternal grandmother is Betty Ann UNKNOWN. She had fifteen brothers and four sisters, named William, James, James, Elias, Elias, John, John, Moses, Moses, Eli, Eli, Levi, Levi, Thomas, Thomas, Ruth, Rachael, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.
