Martha Ellen was born on April 23rd, 1861 in Mount Pleasant, Sanpete, Utah. USAah. Martha Ellen's father was James Martin Allred and her mother was Mary Francis Vance. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Allred and Julia Ann Taylor. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Isaac Willard, Martin Wilford, George Alma, Ernest Rudolphus, Lawrence, Leroy Edgar, Anna Eliza, Sarah Frances, Mary Arletta and Minnie Elzina. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She had eight half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James Christopher, John Frank, Emanuel Andres, Lewis, Junius Sidney, Leegrand, Frederick Homer, Dorcas Amelia, Mary Elizabeth, Anna M. and Ida May. She died at the age of 77 on April 13th, 1939 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah, USA. She was buried on April 15th, 1939 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah, USA.General Notes
