Junius Sidney was born on June 1st, 1886 in Fairview, Sanpete, Utah, USA. Junius Sidney's father was James Martin Allred and his mother was Christianne Gustave Anderson. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Allred and Julia Ann Taylor. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James Christopher, John Frank, Emanuel Andres, Lewis, Leegrand, Frederick Homer, Dorcas Amelia, Mary Elizabeth, Anna M. and Ida May. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Isaac Willard, Martin Wilford, George Alma, Ernest Rudolphus, Lawrence, Leroy Edgar, Martha Ellen, Anna Eliza, Sarah Frances, Mary Arletta and Minnie Elzina.
