Richard ASHTON

Richard was born in 1611 and his baptism took place on March 28th, 1611 in Whalley, Lancashire, England.  Richard's father was Ralph ASHTON and his mother was Eleanor SHUTTLEWORTH. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Alexander, Thomas, Nicholas, Radcliffe, James, John, Edmund, John, William, Anne and Johanna.  He is the oldest of the twelve children.
