John ASHTON

John was born in 1619 and his baptism took place on October 10th, 1619 in Whalley, Lancashire, England.  John's father was Ralph ASHTON and his mother was Eleanor SHUTTLEWORTH. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Alexander, Thomas, Nicholas, Radcliffe, James, Edmund, John, William, Anne and Johanna.  He is the sixth youngest of the twelve children.
