Walter ASHCRAFT 
Walter was born on November 5th, 1837 in <, Doddridge County, West Virginia>. Walter's father was Uriah ASHCRAFT and his mother is Fannie Marie DYE. His paternal grandfather was Ezekiel ASHCRAFT and his paternal grandmother is Hester OATLEY; his maternal grandparents are Walter DYE and Agnes FORD. He had five brothers and six sisters, named James (John) M., William M., George, J. Buchannon, Buchannon, Mary, Charlotte, Agnes, Martha, Mary and Charlotte. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died about 1857.General Notes
