Ezekiel was born on April 17th, 1798 in Fayette, , Pennsylvania. Ezekiel's father was John (Old) ASHCRAFT and his mother was Charity Beeson. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Ashcraft and Elizabeth Lewis. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John II, Ezekiel, Amos, Uriah, Levi, Sarah, Sarah, Elizabeth and Sarah M. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 31 on March 15th, 1830.General Notes
