Lydia Vanzant 
Lydia was born on April 16th, 1881 in Assiginack Twp, Manitoulin Isle, Manitoulin, Ontario Canada. Lydia's father was William Vanzant and her mother was Fanny Hannah Pollard. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Vanzant and Margeret Yake. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Belford, Wellington M, William Henry, Edward Harold (Earl), Thomas Ray, Margaret Emma, Margina, Loulie F and 'Mary' Margaret Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 15 on May 17th, 1896 in Gore Bay, Gordon Twp, Manitoulin Dist., Ontario Canada.-
