John Yake 
John was born in 1782 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. John's father was Daniel Yakes and his mother was Mary Nicely. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Hiram, Gabriel, Michael, Abraham, Jacob, Jonathan, Marshall, Esther, Margaret, Mary and Nancy. He died at the age of 58 on August 14th, 1840 in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada.
John and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on March 6th, 1802 in Ontario, Canada. They had eight sons and six daughters, named Jacob, Adam, David, Daniel, Hiram, John, Michael, William, Mary, Margeret, Rachel, Maudlane, Elizabeth and Catherine.
