Margeret was born on October 12th, 1821 in Stouffville, Ontario, Canada. Margeret's father was John Yake and her mother was Sarah Long. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Yakes and Mary Nicely. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Jacob, Adam, David, Daniel, Hiram, John, Michael, William, Mary, Rachel, Maudlane, Elizabeth and Catherine. She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 83 on February 11th, 1905 in Manitoulin Island,, Ontario, Canada.-
