William Rev Thompson 
William Rev was born on April 26th, 1697 in Marshfield, Massachusetts, USA.1 William Rev's father was Edward Rev. Thompson and his mother was Sarah Webster. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Thompson and Sarah Shepherd; his maternal grandparents were John Webster and Anne Batt. minister of Scarborough ME 1728. Last will drawn up on January 13th, 1759. Will was probated 10-1-1759. Mentioned as his children William, Anna, and John. He gave his son William a valuable tract of land at Oak Hill, and also assisted William with money to purchase another tract of land on Stroud Water River. He also gave William a piece of Thatch land bought from Captain John Libby near Libby's river.. Also he gave William 1/2 of the Thatch Land bought from Jonathan Libby. He also gave him half of his interest in the common & undivided lands in Scarboro., also his best yoke of oxen.
He gave to John the other half of his rights in common lands of Scarboro.. He gave John and Anna equal shares of his estate not disposed of.. He appointed, His wife Anna Executrix, son William an Executor, and also son John another Executor.
He graduated Harvard College in 1718 and was an ordained minister of Scarborough, Maine in 1727. Died at age 60.
