Sarah Swan 
Sarah was born on March 30th, 1646 in Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts.1 Sarah's father was Richard Swan and her mother was Anna Spofford. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Swan and Juliana; her maternal grandfather was John Spofford. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named William, Richard, Jonathan, John, Robert, Jane, Frances, Susan, Dorothy, Anna, Mercy, Julianna and Faith. She died in Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 General Notes

Sarah's tombstone in the Old Burial Ground in Groton states: "Here Lyes Ye Body of Mrs. Sarah Boynton Late Wife of Capt. Joseph Boynton who died February Ye 27, 1717 aged 71 Years.
