Prince of Saxony Siegfried 
Prince of Saxony was born about 1130 in of, Dresden, Dresden, Saxony.1 Prince of Saxony's father was Duke of Saxony Albrecht I and his mother was Sofie Mrs Brandenburg. His paternal grandparents were Otto (Askanier) Count of Ballenstedt and Eilika Princess of Saxony. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Otto I Margrave of, Count of Orlamunde Hermann, Prince of Saxony, Count of Ballenstedt, Count of Werben, Bernhard III Duke of, Christine Princess of, Gertrud (Sibylle) Princess of, Princess of Saxony, Gertrud and Princess of Saxony. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died on October 24th, 1184.1 General Notes
