Princess of Saxony was born about 1131 in of, Brandenburg, Brandenburg, Prussia.1 Princess of Saxony's father was Duke of Saxony Albrecht I and her mother was Sofie Mrs Brandenburg. Her paternal grandparents were Otto (Askanier) Count of Ballenstedt and Eilika Princess of Saxony. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Otto I Margrave of, Count of Orlamunde Hermann, Prince of Saxony, Prince of Saxony, Count of Ballenstedt, Count of Werben, Bernhard III Duke of, Christine Princess of, Gertrud (Sibylle) Princess of, Gertrud and Princess of Saxony.
