Alan FitzWalter II High Steward of was born in 1129 in Paisley Abbey, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 Alan FitzWalter II High Steward of's father was Walter FitzAlan I High Steward of Scotland and his mother was Eschyne De Molle. His paternal grandparents were Alan Fitz Flaad De Hesdin Baron of Oswestry and Adeliza heiress of Shropshire; his maternal grandfather was Uchtred De Molle.
