David Sabin 
David was born on September 17th, 1831 in Washington Co, PA.1 David's father was Eli Sabin and his mother was Hannah. His paternal grandparents were David Sabin and Mary. He had a brother and a sister, named Eli B and Phoebe Ann. He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named James Milton, Ternessa E, Minette E, Laura Jane and Barbara Ellen. He died at the age of 76 on April 22nd, 1908. He was buried in Riverside Cem, Ladysmith, WI.1 1 General Notes

[From History of Vernon, WI 1884] David Sabin settled on his present farm in 1864. He came fr om Richland Co, purchased land on Sec 27 & 28, and immediately commenced to clear a farm. H e built a good two-story hewed log house, which he still occupies.
He was born in Washington Co, PA 17 Sep 1831. When he was 8 years old, his parents removed t o to OH & settled in Knox Co, where his mother died four years later. When he was 14 years o ld his father removed to IN and settled in Blackford Co, soon
after which he broke up housekeeping and David then started out for himself. He found employ ment among the farmers of Delaware Co, where he grew to manhood. He was there married in Ja n 1854, to Matilda Babb, who was born in Clinton Co, OH. He bought
a farm on which they lived until 1858, when he sold it and came to WI and settled in Richlan d Co. He bought land on Mill Creek, built a log house and remained there until 1864. when h e sold and came to Bad Ax Co, as before stated. His farm now
contains 160 acres. They had nine children....According to ltr from Dr Norbert Sabin, 10/20/ 93, David was b. 7 Sep 1830 and he was married on 24 Jan 1854.
